Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined – Quran 21:22

Allah has no partners or Progeny

Allah is not in need of partners or progeny, as He is self-sufficient and complete in His attributes. In the absence of such perfection, the existence of multiple gods would lead to chaos and conflict.

Allah has all sovereignty and power.

If multiple gods existed, each would claim ownership over what they created, resulting in competing claims and endless disputes. Everyone would vie for dominance, attempting to assert their authority over creation. This scenario would lead to confusion and disorder, undermining the harmony and balance of the universe.

By acknowledging the existence of only one supreme being, you uphold the unity, sovereignty, and absolute authority of Allah over all creation.

There is nothing or no one like him

Allah is beyond the dimensions of time and space, existing outside the confines of our understanding. As the Quran proclaims, “There is nothing like unto Him” (Quran 42:11), emphasizing the incomparable nature of Allah’s essence. Human language and perception are inadequate to fully grasp the magnitude and majesty of Allah’s being. Believing in one God is Good for you and Good for the world. Embracing the oneness of God in Islam fosters a profound sense of unity, humility, and reverence among believers, transcending cultural, ethnic, and societal divides. It encourages individuals to recognize their inherent interconnectedness with all of creation and to uphold justice, compassion, and righteousness in their interactions with others.
